Bake for Family Fun Month is the perfect time to share the goodness of baking with your family. Creating baking traditions and family memories is easy! The Home Baking Association provides recipes, baking activities and ideas for family's to create baking memories not only in February but also throughout the year. Baking is an expensive family acitivity that provides opportunities for families to share baking traditions, recipes and family heritage that can be handed down through each generation. . Each week we will be giving you recipes, baking activities and opportunities to spend time together in the kitchen. From toddler to grandparent – baking is the perfect family activity!

Each week new family baking activities will be introduced with age-appropriate projects.
This week's baking project invites you to bake some delicious whole wheat sugar cookies and share a book with the whole family! There are tasks for any age baker, from rolling the cookie dough balls in sugar to handing out napkins and straws for glasses of milk - and be sure to check out the recommended reading for some great books about cookies that every family member can enjoy!
