County Extension Office Dear
Parent:
Your child’s teacher thought your child might be interested in appearing on “Kids in the Kitchen.” On Wednesday, August 30, 2000, we will be taping the shows to be broadcast during the month of September. We will film at the Breathitt County Extension Office beginning at 3:15 p.m., and anticipate being finished by 4:45 p.m. You will need to provide transportation for your daughter or son. Please make arrangements to bring them to the County Extension Office after school, and plan to pick them up at 4:45 p.m. We are located at 1155 Main Street, in the old Health Department building, next to the old power company office. You are welcome to come to the Extension Office and watch as “Kids in the Kitchen” is being taped. Your child needs to wear a clean, bright shirt (any color) and have their hair neatly combed. Long hair should be pulled back.
“Kids in the Kitchen” is a series of short (10-15 minute) food
shows that will be shown on JHS-TV, Channel 9, throughout the school year. Please call me at 666-8812, if you have any questions or would like
