Peach-Pecan Tart

 

Ingredients
  • Butter Crust (below)
    Orange Glaze (below)
    2 packages (3 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
    4 cups sliced fresh peaches (about 4 medium)
  • ½ cup chopped pecans

Preparation

Mix flour and brown sugar; cut in butter until crumbly. Press firmly and evenly against bottom and side of ungreased 12-inch pizza pan. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until
light brown.

 

Orange Glaze
Ingredients

  • ¾ cup sugar
    2 Tbsp. corn starch
    ¼ tsp. salt
    ¾ cup orange juice
  • 1/3 cup water


Preparation
Preheat oven to 400°F. Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt in 1-quart saucepan. Gradually stir in orange juice and water. Heat to boiling over medium heat; stir constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute; cool. Bake Butter Crust; cool. Prepare Orange Glaze. Beat cream cheese until smooth; spread on bottom of crust. Arrange peaches on cream cheese; sprinkle with pecans. Spoon Orange Glaze over pecans. Refrigerate about 2 hours or until set.
