Pecan Pie


A Home Baking Association Favorite


  • 3 eggs 1 cup dark corn syrup 3/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup butter, melted 1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 tsp. salt 1 cup pecan halves
  • 1 (9-inch) baked pie shell (see the Never-Fail Pie Crust recipe)



In a medium bowl, beat together eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter, vanilla and salt. Arrange pecans on bottom of pie shell. Carefully pour egg mixture over pecans. Bake on bottom rack of preheated 400°F oven until knife inserted near center comes out clean, about 30 to 35 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Provided by American Egg Board
