Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients, except flour. Add enough flour to make a rollable dough, about 2 cups. If the dough appears too wet, add additional flour 1 teaspoon at a time until it reaches the desired consistency.

  3. Roll out to approximately 1/2 inch thick. Cut with round biscuit cutter and sprinkle with sugar.
  4. Bake in a preheated 350 degree F (175 degree C) oven for 8 - 10 minutes.
