Instructions

1. Cookie Crust:
2. Cream together the butter and sugar until well mixed.
3. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder and salt together.
5. Add the dry ingredients and beat until well mixed.
6. Spray a large sheet pan with cooking spray.
7. Roll/Press dough out until it covers the entire pan.
8. Bake at 350 degrees F for 16-17 minutes, or until it just starts browning.
9. Frosting:
10. Cream together frosting ingredients until fluffy. Place in refrigerator until cookie crust is completely cooled.
11. Toppings:
12. Wash and slice desired fruit toppings. Place in refrigerator until ready to decorate.
13. Assembly:
14. Spread entire cookie with cream cheese frosting.
15. Arrange blueberries in far upper left corner to represent the stars of the flag.
16. Arrange thinly sliced strawberries in a horizontal lines representing the stripes of flag.
17. Serve
