Ingredients
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups Dakota Maid All purpose Flour
- 1/3 cup milk
- 2 cups oatmeal
- 4 ounces nuts
- 8-9 ounces raisins
Instructions
- Mix brown sugar, butter, salt, soda, cinnamon and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs and mix until smooth. Gradually add flour and mix until smooth.
- Add milk, oatmeal and nuts and mix to blend.
- Cover raisins in tap water (80o F.) for 5 to 10 minutes; drain off water. Add to dough and mix thoroughly.
- Drop dough by tablespoon onto baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until done. Remove from heat to cooling rack. Makes about 2 dozen cookies.
