Pizza’s a great way to build baking history and traditions. For our family, home baked pizza’s on the menu almost every Friday. Our D-I-Y pizza tradition began with 3 goals: relax together, create “nutritious pizza” and save money.
Goals achieved! With a few weeks practice we got the crust “grooved” and we’re definitely faster than ordering in, more nutritious (we’re baking whole grain crusts, eating less sodium and fat, and more veggies) and $avings are huge. After 20 years, now we’re up to over $25,000 saved by making our own pizza. Check it out here!
